A DSGN kitchen in a Singapore home

How we work

Five rules.

The reason a DSGN kitchen exists, written down.

Why rules

These aren’t preferences. They’re the reason a DSGN kitchen exists. The way you can tell whether a piece is from DSGN is by checking it against the five rules below — if any one of them is missing, it isn’t one of ours.

  1. Made-to-order only.

Your piece doesn't exist until you decide it should. We don't hold inventory and we don't mass-produce. Every panel is cut after your order, in Singapore, for the room it's going into.

  2. Ten-year materials.

Every surface choice has to survive a Singapore decade — humidity, kids, weekday cooking, weekend renovations. If it can't, it doesn't go on a DSGN piece. The materials we use have already been used in thousands of Singapore kitchens.

  3. No deposit until the design is approved.

We earn the order before we ask for the money. You see the final design, the final price, and the final timeline — then you decide. No deposit. No waitlist fee. No lock-in.

  4. Built to your room, not to a catalogue.

Singapore homes have particular walls. The room is measured before the drawing starts. The drawing is signed off before the panel is cut. Every DSGN piece is sized to the millimetre of where it lives.

  5. Reconfigure, don't replace.

A DSGN piece adapts to your space as your space changes. Add a module, swap a finish, move it to the next home. Designed to outlast a single configuration of a single room.

See it in practice

The rules apply to your kitchen.

A DSGN kitchen starts with a measurement of your room and ends with a piece you approved before paying for. Book a home kitchen consult and we’ll bring the material kit over.
